The pleasure and pain of Jalebiwala!

There's a Jalebiwala close to my house who makes the delicious Jalebis in a small room. The determination and the feeling of pleasure in his eyes while he makes the delicacy is worth noticing. He pumps his stove real hard to extract that extra bit of fire from the limited kerosene he possesses, speeds up the whole process making as many Jalebis as possible from the limited resources available, thus increasing the efficiency at work, saves electricity by making sure he switches his light on only if darkness prevents his work and presents happiness in the faces of the customers who taste it. When he gets exhausted with all his resources late in the evening, I observe the feeling of weariness in his eyes, and I think, he's fallen short of making one more Jalebi which could have made him a rich man!!!
